Trainee Hotel Manager – Bristol

Alveston House Hotel has a fabulous opportunity for a confident, motivated individual to join our small team as a Trainee Manager. This role is ideal for those wishing to take their first steps into Hotel Management.

What’s Involved:

  • Reception duties
  • Liasing with all departments such as food and beverage, housekeeping and maintenance to ensure the business runs successfully and the day smoothly
  • Supervising the Hotel’s Restaurant, Carriages
  • Organising and running events, weddings and functions
  • Liaising with conference organisers
  • Contributing to staff training

Experience and Personal Attributes:

    Ideally you will have some experience from a hospitality environment, perhaps you are a receptionist or work in food and beverage already, keen to develop your experience within hospitality and to learn all the sections that make a hotel work. We are specifically keen to find someone enthusiastic with super communication skills who can work with our guests, staff and supervise/organise a super team. From here we will offer continuous training and mentoring as well as the chance to gain more qualifications.
