This letter is to thank you for the fantastic effort you put in to make our weekend really special. We are so glad that we booked your hotel for the event. I was very impressed with the way things went so smoothly and all the guests said the same; from the catering to the accommodation, it was perfect. It is a very comfortable place to stay. On behalf of our group of eleven people for whom I made a booking for the New Year's Eve dinner, I would like to say how much we enjoyed the whole event. The evening was a great success, from the friendly welcome to the food nicely presented (and of excellent quality) and the service - as we remembered from the previous year - was efficiently provided as always with a smile. All you staff should be congratulated - Chef, the table service staff and the reception staff. Members of our group are already talking about a booking for next year, so I hope we will be returning again.

The Food for our Christmas Party Night was lovely. All the waitresses worked really hard and the staff were very friendly. We couldn't have found a nicer venue and will definitely be back.

We are ladies that lunch at least once a month, but at Christmas we wanted something special, so decided on Alveston House Hotel, with its elegant restaurant Carriages, we were not dissappointed. The staff were courteous and the food excellent. The deep fried brie was the best we've ever had. We would definitely recommend Carriages to anyone and we look forward to returning.
