Hotel Receptionist – Bristol

Alveston House Hotel has a fabulous opportunity for a confident, motivated individual to join our small team as a Receptionist.

Working Week:

  • Full-time or possibly part-time role
  • 40 hours per week over 5 days (We open 365 days a year)
  • Examples of shifts are 7am-3pm, 9am-5pm or 3pm-12am
  • We would consider discussing hours for the right candidate

Experience:

  • Previous hotel reception experience preferred but not essential, as full training will be given
  • Basic competence with Word Processing, Excel and Internet is essential (preferably Microsoft Office

Key Tasks:

  • Administration and general office duties
  • Answer questions and enquiries
  • End of day and banking
  • Enter deliveries into stock and check invoice pricing
  • Follow up enquiries
  • Greet guests with a big smile and sincere welcome
  • Keep conference bills and day sheets up to date
  • Photocopying/faxing for guests and conference delegates
  • Prepare letters
  • Prepare restaurant bills
  • Take reservations
