It's a joy to use a hotel that really understands customer service and puts it into action. I recently used Alveston House Hotel to run a business planning event for one of my clients. I was delighted with the responsive and friendly approach of the staff. All the arrangements ran like clockwork and staff were very flexible when our event didn't quite follow the original plans. It was delightful to be able to concentrate on working with my clients with the reassurance that all the other practicalities such as coffee breaks, meals and equipment were being handled so professionally. I look forward to my next opportunity of working there.

I attended a conference at your hotel yesterday and I just wanted to compliment the staff at the Alveston House Hotel. The Alveston House Hotel is ideally placed for a business meeting central to Hampshire, Cormwall & Kent. I arranged a Board Meeting to be held at the Alveston, all arrangements were perfect, the room easy to use as a Board Room, facilities & lunch good with excellent staff.
We were looked after very well and will use the Alveston on a regular basis - Thank you very much indeed.

We had an excellent conference here on Monday 23rd May. The staff were exceptionally friendly, the food was excellent and the overall feel of the place helped to relax the delegates. I would definitely use Alveston House again.

My experience of using Alveston House Hotel for my business event was entirely positive. Nothing was too much trouble. The delegates really enjoyed the food, the quiet atmosphere, the access to the gardens, and I enjoyed the quiet efficiency with which everything was done by the friendly and helpful staff. I am very fussy about the venues I choose as it can add considerably to the success of the day. Suffice to say I have booked a second course at Alveston House Hotel!

I have used Alveston three times for business and most recently was a guest speaker at conference there. In my role I tend to see a lot of hotels and have become quite picky I guess. So I wouldn't recommend a hotel to anyone unless I was sure you would get a great service, and at Alveston you will. The staff are lovely, really attentive without being over bearing and it has that great feel that comes with being privately owned. You'll no doubt see the owner Julie Camm during your stay as she is very hands on and takes a personal interest in her guest's welfare.

I recently booked conferencing facilities at Alveston House, and I shall definitely be using that venue again. During the booking process, the staff were helpful and friendly and made sure that all my requirements were met. On the day of the event, the delegates and myself were welcomed warmly. The room we used opened on to the beautiful garden and we were able to wander out there for breaks and lunch. Lunch itself was delicious and far better than one usually expects for a 'finger buffet'. On my evaluation sheet, all delegates gave 10/10 for both the venue and the food, and I look forward to holding future events at the hotel.

We held a small meeting at the Alveston House Hotel in December and found the facilities to be very good with prompt and efficient service. The hotel is in an excellent location for meeting clients from all over the South West. With free car parking and free wireless Alveston House makes the ideal choice for a meeting. We will be going back.
