Thornbury was celebrating this week after achieving a double first in the national Britain in Bloom competition.
Not only did Thornbury win gold in the national competition but it also earned the accolade of Best Town in Britain.

Badminton Horse Trials

With May just around the corner excitement is building in the run up to the Badminton Horse Trials.
The 4 day event takes place 7-10 May in the grounds of the historic Badminton House. It was the 10th Duke of Beaufort who masterminded the very first event in 1949. The original idea being that British riders could train for future International events.
