I was pleased to attend the Alveston Community Forum Meeting recently on behalf of the hotel.   

Alveston House is new to the group which is currently made up of thirty members from where working groups are formed to work on specific projects such as: Alvestons entry into The Calor Village of the year and planning an Annual Show. 

It is hoped that the forum will be supported by some of the dozens of volunteers who over the past years have offered their help with certain projects.  

We are very much looking forward to having a stall in the Annual Flower and Craft Show which is to be held on Saturday 5 September in the fields by the Jubilee Hall.  Watch this space for more details of what we will be doing on the day.
